The circular cutting machine has stationary cutting unit and rotary circular table. The cutting unit is welded steel construction which carries pretensioned knife guide by approx. 10 tons. The bandknife is 30 mm wide with a service life of about 150 working hours. 2 driven cup grinders grind the bandknife during the splitting operation. Pre-selection of layer thickness in the range of 1.5 mm to 200 mm by veriner or electronically by a preselection counter with digital display from the control panel from 1.5 mm to 999.9 mm with increments of 0.1 mm. The cutting speed is infinitely adjustable between 0 to 5 rpm with a splitting and stacking height of 1220 mm.
